GET TO KNOW MEAGAN

My name is Meagan Stone and I am from Atlanta, Georgia. I am newly engaged (finally!) to a wonderful man named Jay and we have a 6-year-old daughter together named Layla. We are continuing to build our life together as a family with the addition of a dream home, starting a company, and planting roots in my hometown. I received my Bachelor's Degree in Biology from Kennesaw State University (Go Owls!) and went on to receive my Master's Degree in Public Health Management and Policy from Georgia State University (Go Panthers!). 

I take pride in myself for being not only a great mother - but a mother who knows it's okayyy to not have EVERYTHING together ALL the time. I wake up late some mornings, I forget to pack morning snacks, I lose my patience, I curse under my breath, and my house is a wreck the majority of the time unless I am expecting company... BUT my family and I survive. We are happy, healthy, and equipped to handle all types of fiascos.

As a mother to a 6-year-old, my daughter's happiness is my number one priority, but I am a firm believer that just because you are a busy mom does not mean you have to sacrifice EVERYTHING you once loved. Mother's don't need to feel guilty for spending money on themselves every once in a while or taking a break one weekend to go get drinks with your girlfriends... It's actually good for your soul ;) This is a lifestyle blog where I share my experiences, tips, and tricks that have helped me truly succeed in motherhood, and my favorite products that I think are worth investing in!
